If you feel like you need a little boost, here are six of our favorite self-care activities:

Adult coloring books have been a popular trend for a while now, and they’re one of our favorite ways to unwind. Your inner child will thank you. Coloring is a wonderful way to relax — and it’s super fun, too!

You can find coloring books for almost any subject, whether it’s animals and nature, abstract design, or even your favorite TV show or movie. Grab some markers, colored pencils, or crayons and forget the stress of tall girl problems as you lose yourself in bright patterns and colors.

  1. Try a Guided Meditation

No self-care list would be complete without mentioning meditation. Although people have been meditating for thousands of years to achieve spiritual enlightenment, you don’t have to be a monk in a cave to reap the benefits of meditation. Even ten minutes a day will give you a calmer, more balanced mind.

There are many different ways to meditate, but we love guided meditations because they help us stay focused. Just change into some comfy women’s tall loungewear, find a quiet place to sit, and relax with an app like HeadSpace or one of the thousands of free guided meditations on YouTube.

We believe pampering yourself is one of the most important ingredients in the self-care recipe. Take care of your body. After all, it takes care of you! Starting a gratitude journal is one of our favorite self-care exercises. This practice is also incredibly transformative. Life can become so busy that it’s easy to lose perspective and get caught up in daily frustrations like traffic or an annoying coworker. By starting a gratitude journal, you’ll remind yourself of the people, activities and places you love.

Begin by listing at least three things you’re grateful for at the end of each day while relaxing in your PJs or women’s tall loungewear. It could be something as simple as your morning latte, or a stranger holding the elevator. Eventually, you’ll begin to focus more on the positive aspects of your life. You’ll feel more balanced and won’t get stressed out as quickly.
